Meet the Interns
Students who have been accepted into our Internship program bring classroom knowledge of Finance, Business and Marketing during their experience.
Matt Mottes
Is currently attending SUNY Albany, pursing a double major in Finance and Economics, with an expected graduation date in the spring of 2019. He is currently involved as an Analyst for UA Stock Exchange Club and member of Albany Alternative Investments Club. Matt enjoys learning about all aspects of business and money management, he has also been involved in projects regarding both micro and macro analysis. After graduation Matt is looking forward to being employed has an Analyst or Trader.
Kyle Launer
Is currently attending school at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where he is entering his junior year and is pursuing a degree in Resource Economics. At School, Kyle is an active member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. This is Kyle's first year interning at PPS and is excited to learn more about the financial industry.
Foazy Nwaiser
is currently attending Molloy College and pursing a degree in Business Administration, and a minor in Business Finance with an expected graduation date in the Spring of 2018. He actively serves as the Captain for the Mens Soccer team, and is currently in his second year as a Resident Assistant in Res Life at Molloy. Prior to PPS Advisors, Foazy interned at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Garden City,NY assisting in Product,Market,and Client Research.
Andrew Gilmartin
Has graduated from Molloy College with a degree in Finance, graduation date May 2017. Andrew serves as the President of the Investment Club and Vice-President of the Golf Club at Molly College. . He has returned to PPS Advisors for his second intern semester, he works on projects that intend to find what drives relative performance within certain market sectors as well as tracking potential buy/sell signals based on a variety of economic and market variables. Andrew also interned with TriState Capital Bank. He is now employed with a Finance Company in NYC. Good Luck Andrew!
Gabriela Santana
Is currently attending Molloy College and pursuing a degree in Business Management with a concentration in marketing. Before joining PPS Advisors, Gabriela worked as an intern with The Long Island Railroad. She assisted in stations operations, special services, and revenue analysis. At PPS, Gabriela assisted in website design, and marketing efforts to attract the millennial generation. Spring of 2017 Gabriela is interning at 1-800 Flowers.
Erika Fulep
is currently attending Cornell University as a double major in Math and Economics. At Cornell she is a member of Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity and serves on the Engagement and Public Relations committees for Hillel. She expects to graduate in May 2019 and is interested in pursuing a career in Finance.

Joe Hannon
is entering his senior year at the University of Delaware, where he will graduate with a bachelor's degree in Economics. At Delaware, Joe is involved in the Economics club and serves as treasurer of a student run non-profit organization. Joe joined PPS as an intern in the summer of 2015 and returned for a second summer in 2016. At PPS, Joe assists the portfolio analysts in research and due diligence. Following graduation, Joe plans to pursue a career in corporate finance.
AJ Lapitino
Has Graduated from University of Richmond with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and marketing. AJ was an active member of the Men’s Lacrosse team and graduated in the spring of 2017. While at PPS Advisors, AJ has worked on multiple projects which have taught him the importance of wealth management and performance analysis. In the Summer of 2016 AJ interned at College Board. He is now employed full time with a Finance Company in NYC. Good Luck AJ !
Gareth Moore
Attended Molloy College and graduated with a degree in Finance in May 2015. Before joining PPS Advisors, Gareth worked 2 years at UBS Wealth Management, as well as 1 year at the Law Offices of Weingrad & Weingrad located within the Empire State Building. During his time at Molloy, he was a member of the Rugby team for 4 years, and has also represented New York state in Gaelic Football tournaments held in Ireland, England and Dubai. At PPS Advisors, Gareth undertakes projects regarding topics such as technical analysis and company valuations.
Sam Rozzi
is now working full-time at Progressive Advisory Solutions. Attended the University of Dayton as a double major in Finance and Accounting with an graduated in December 2015. Before joining PPS Advisors, Sam worked as a tax intern at a local CPA firm. During his undergraduate studies he was elected as the Treasurer of his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha. Prior to his undergraduate studies, he graduated high school at Patchogue-Medford High School.
